The SAFE + SOUND program was developed by a team of hospitality and gaming experts in collaboration with worldwide health and sanitation specialists, such as Ecolab and National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).
It is focused on enhanced cleaning practices, social interactions and workplace protocols, while ensuring transparency through the Guest and Team Member journey.
According to Tan, the SAFE + SOUND program was immediately implemented at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast when the hotel reopened after the Movement Control Order ended, to give reassurance and trust that the hotel is providing a safe environment for guests.
Some key elements of the SAFE + SOUND program include temperature checks, social distancing, seal of SAFE + SOUND on every guest room door upon arrival, increased cleaning and touchless in room dining, among others.
“We make sure every effort is adhered according to the SAFE + SOUND protocols.” said Tan.
